Learning Objectives:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of various lens designs, indexes, tints, photochromics polarization and coatings. This includes:
- Identifying and differentiating between lens types and their appropriate applications.
- Recognizing and interpreting markings on unknown progressive lenses. Use of a PAL template and centration chart.
- Understanding of all digital lens designs.
- Identification and practical use of tints, photochromics & polarized lens designs.
- Understanding how lens indices and coatings affect performance and patient experience to make informed recommendations.
